Soul Shelter

On Friday, I met with one of the brilliant minds from over at Soul Shelter, Tim Clark. We talked about the usual things, life, work, blogging, and coffee. It was refreshing to meet face-to-face with another blogger rather than face-to-email. In a world where everything is Google-able, all the people you know are on LinkedIn or Facebook, and the easiest way to get a hold of your significant other is through Twitter we should always make a little time for face-to-face time.

Tim even has a rule for this, called “Clark’s Communication Potency Theorem:

The power of communication improves exponentially with proximity, either physical or psychological.

  • Clark’s Corollary to the Communication Potency Theorem: Talk, Don’t Type.

While I am encouraging you to go outside and actually meet with someone today, I think it would be great if you also took a minute to check out his blog. There’s some incredible stuff tucked away in that corner of the Internet!
